Property did not have signage and very hard to fine. Cob webs every where. Light switches didn’t work so they had an old lamp in the bath room. Water damage and mold all along the bottom of tub. Bedding disgusting! No kitchenette or laundry facility. False advertising. I left and drove home. Contacted host and haven’t heard any thing from them! As far as I’m concerned they stole my money!

Everything was nice.

First of all, after booking when we arrived in big bear our original check in time was supposed to be 3 p.m, but received an email saying the room may not be cleaned until 5 p.m which was not an issue. When we went to our room at 7:30 p.m. the room was still not cleaned. Trash from previous stayers and no bed sheets were what we walked into almost 5 hours after the initial quoted check in time. I first tried to follow the signs that say "office" to speak to someone only to find out there are no staff on sight to speak to for any assistance and I was not being answered through email, and the phone number provided was not a real number. Turns out there were many other people staying there experiencing the same issue as a few of us were outside trying to find the office. We had to track down the cleaning crew ourselves and ask them to clean our room while we were there. After all this trouble, I was promised compensation of at least my cleaning fee but was instead shocked to fine being charged after my stay for absolutely no reason. Not worth it! Very dissapointed

Bags of trash literally on our doorstep and in the walkways up to our rental. There was also a toilet along the walkway. Had to move multiple full size garbage bags full of trash to access rental. No management on site and very difficult and delayed communication. Would avoid if you’re looking for that romantic escape.

The cabin was cute and cozy, even smelled really nice but unfortunately we found dog hair all over the comforter and pillow cases. I sent a message to the host especially because I’m allergic but I did not receive a response until after I checked out the next morning. The on-site office appeared to be closed after I walked around looking for it. A sign in the cabin indicated that we can dial zero to reach the office during business hours but there was no phone. I ended up having to remove the pillows and comforter from the bed which put a huge damper on my sleep for the night. There also wasn’t any hand or bath soap provided, although there was shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. There was a coffee machine with coffee packs but no cups - not sure if they were supposed to be provided. I sent a copy of the video of the dog hair to the host and received an apology, stating they would ensure this doesn’t happen in the future. The cleaning crew apparently went home early, I’m assuming because it was Christmas Day; however, it was not only a Christmas celebration for us but also my boyfriend’s birthday so I do wish it turned out better.
